Rain on the Bridge

Under a fine rain, a procession of passers-by crosses a bridge, umbrellas open like so many dark flowers. The watercolour dissolves the silhouettes into a bluish mist, where lanterns and Japanese rooftops gently fade. Reflections tremble on the water.
